Harlequin is a specialist manufacturer making bespoke accessories and garments for couturiers, dressmakers, costumiers and the general public. We are famous for our fabric belts, covered buttons, clutch bags and ties, which bring the world’s top designers to us looking for our superb quality, fast turnaround and our passion for what we do.
Our commitment to quality and service has seen us thrive and survive during the financial crisis and our commercial client list reads like a Who’s Who of British and International Fashion Design. The same exacting standards that they demand are applied across everything we do so you can be confident that you are going to be absolutely delighted with your order!
We also have a thriving retail customer base; check out our new catalogue for more information. All our products are made in Britain by a small, highly skilled British workforce.
Back in 1968 when Eric and Hilda Bull first opened Harlequin as a fabric shop in Epping High Street they could have little idea how the business would grow and evolve and the unique position that Harlequin would come to occupy within the fashion world.
The garment and fashion industry has changed hugely over the past fifty years but Harlequin has continued to thrive and we still cherish that commitment to quality of service and product that Eric and Hilda had when they first started the company.
Our small but highly-skilled workforce have all been with us for years and years and it is their passion and devotion that ensures our unique position in the world of fashion.
